Century Trucks & Vans has been family owned and operated since it first opened in 1980. Bill and Valerie had a vision of a dealership that did things the right way, not the easy way. 45 years later and Century still holds on to these values, always making an effort to not be like the other guys. Now under the ownership of their two sons, Daniel and Shawn, Century continues to search for new ways to enhance the customer experience while making sure that we stay tried and true to the values that earned us our customer’s trust and confidence.
Dealership History
1980
Century Wholesale Trucks opens it’s doors in Irving, TX with a fleet of only 5 trucks to offer! Bill and Valerie have a vision of a dealership where things are done the right way, not the easy way.
1986
We reached maximum capacity for the location and needed more room. We found a 2-acre property in Grand Prairie, TX where we built our new location. That building still stands today as our Reconditioning Office!
2011
Century purchases the neighboring dealership, adding another 5-acres to our lot. We complete a full remodel design to turn it into the Century Trucks & Vans building that exists today!
2023
Century transforms it’s other 7-acre lot at 1801 E Main Street into Century’s ProShop. First opening it’s mechanical division, and then it’s upfitting the division the following year, making it a hub of customization and unlimited options for our customers.
2025
45 years later and Century Trucks & Vans is the leader in it’s field. Being America’s largest independent commercial truck dealership. With massive inventory, amazing financing, endless customizations, and a customer first mindset, Century is set up to remain the premier destination for all your commercial vehicle needs!
